Though they are well versed in Rock and Roll from the early days to the modern sounds of today, Unkle Monkey also plays Caribbean Music including Reggae, Calypso, Soca, Ska, and Jimmy Buffett songs (steel drum available) They play Hawaiian Music including traditional songs (several played on ukulele and sung in Hawaiian) modern Hawaiian, Jawaiian, and Bruddah Iz songs (Somewhere Over the Rainbow, etc.) They play New Orleans Music including Mardi Gras songs, Funk, Zydeco and Cajun (horns and accordion available) They also play Celtic Music including Irish Folk Songs and Irish Rock (fiddle and mandolin available). Many of Steve’s original songs have received radio airplay across the U.S. and Canada while his song Welcome to Poco Cabesa was featured in the hit play Following the Equator.
